What gets deleted
Everything that identifies you as a person:
- Your name, email address and mobile number
- Your password
- Your signed-in devices and their session tokens
- Your sign-in history
What is kept, and why
Your company's books stay. Invoices, customers, suppliers, items, payments and ledgers are the business's records, not one person's. Other users of that company depend on them, and Indian GST law requires a business to keep its records for 72 months from the due date of that year's annual return.
So deleting your account removes your access and your personal details. It does not erase invoices the business has issued. If you are the owner and want the whole company account closed, say so in the box above and we will take you through it.
How long it takes
- We reply within 7 working days to confirm it was really you who asked.
- Once confirmed, the account is deleted within 30 days.
- Ordinary backups are overwritten on their own cycle, within 90 days.
